  1. Remove the plastic pull tab from the Tag battery to activate it.
  2. Slide the Tag into the built-in slot on the collar, it clicks securely into place.
  3. Adjust the collar strap to fit your pet (22–35cm range).
  4. Fasten the breakaway buckle, it should sit snug but allow two fingers underneath.
  5. Pair the with your phone via the Find My app or Google Find Hub and name it after your pet.

Does it work for both Android and Apple?

Does the Tracking Tag come included?

Yes, the Tracking Tag does come included and can be paired with both IOS and Android.

What size neck does this fit? Is it for cats or dogs?

The collar is adjustable and fits neck sizes from 22cm to 35cm (8.5 - 14in), suitable for most adult cats and small-to-medium dogs.

If your pet's neck falls outside this range, it won't fit correctly. When in doubt, measure your pet's neck with a soft tape measure before ordering.

Is it safe? What if my cat gets caught on something?

Yes, the collar has a breakaway buckle that releases under pressure, so if your cat gets snagged on a branch, fence, or anything else, the collar detaches automatically to keep them safe.

The AirTag slot is also flush-mounted on the band with no hanging parts, eliminating the usual snag risk of tag pendants.

Can I track my pet in real time?

Our Wagwells Tracker Tag uses Apple's Find My network or Google's Find Hub, which is crowd-sourced rather than live GPS. When your pet is near any Apple or Android device (iPhone, iPad, Mac), their location is anonymously reported to you through the Find My app.

In areas with high iPhone density (urban areas, suburbs), updates are frequent. In remote areas, updates may be less frequent. This is how WagWells Track Tag works by design, it is not a continuous real-time GPS tracker.
